FRAGMENTS IN BALANCE

Fragments in Balance explores the way memory is held not as a complete picture, but as a collection of partial experiences.

Layers of painted geometry, found paper, interrupted lines and traces of previous surfaces are brought together within a loose underlying structure. Some elements remain clear and defined while others are obscured, torn or partially concealed — reflecting the uneven way moments are retained, altered and eventually recalled.

Rather than attempting to resolve these fragments into a single narrative, the composition allows them to coexist. Order sits beside interruption, precision beside imperfection, and areas of quiet space give individual elements room to remain themselves.

The work considers balance not as something fixed or symmetrical, but as something continually negotiated between what is present and what has been lost.

What remains does not need to be complete.

Pieces find their place.
What was scattered rests awhile—
nothing asks for more.
