TIME HAS DONE ITS WORK

Time Has Done Its Work explores the beauty that emerges when an object is allowed to carry its history openly.

The Brough Superior sits within a constructed landscape of geometry, fragmented colour and layered marks, its weathered surfaces becoming part of the composition rather than something to be restored or concealed. Scratches, oxidation and signs of use speak of journeys taken and years accumulated.

The surrounding structure shifts between order and interruption, echoing the relationship between engineering precision and the unpredictable effects of time. Machine and surface gradually become inseparable — each carrying traces of what came before.

Rather than presenting the motorcycle as an immaculate object, the work celebrates what remains after perfection has passed.

Time has not diminished it.

Time has completed it.
