RAPIDE

Rapide explores the moment when a machine begins to dissolve into its own movement.

The Vincent HRD emerges through layers of horizontal marks, fragmented lines and shifting tonal fields. Rather than presenting the motorcycle as a static object, the composition allows its mechanical structure to appear, disappear and re-form across the surface — as though caught somewhere between observation and memory.

Detail remains where it matters: the engine, tank and distinctive geometry of the machine provide moments of clarity, while surrounding marks stretch outward and interrupt the image, carrying the eye continually across the work.

The result is less a portrait of a motorcycle than an attempt to hold something inherently fleeting.

A machine remembered through motion.

Haiku

Lines carry the form.
For a moment, steel appears—
then returns to speed.
